The following notice was issued from Judy Bell, Executive General Manager of Planning and Municipal Services for the City of Glenn Heights :

"At approximately 1:05 p.m. [March 19] the City of Glenn Heights experienced a drop in pressure due to a water main break.  As a result, the City must issue a “boil water” notice as required by TCEQ.  Glenn Heights Municipal Services crew has flushed the affected water mains in areas of the City of Red Oak and the Little Creek addition in the City of Oak Leaf.  The City anticipates the water tests over the next couple of days will reveal no risk to any water customers and the repeal of the 'boil water' notice."

Stay tuned for any further updates. This is the same line break that is affecting locals in Oak Leaf as well.
