Members of the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the Ennis Police Department helped coordinate an arrest warrant operation on Ranch Two Road south of Ferris on Friday, Nov. 14. Authorities were looking for a suspect accused of killing two Ennis residents, but instead found marijuana. The hunt for the suspect in that Nov. 4 shooting is ongoing.
