Major wreck involving mom and kids

                                   FERRIS- Around 5:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov.2 Ferris Police Department received a call regarding a major head on collision on the 600 block of South Central in Ferris.

 The crash involved a black Nissan with a woman and two children.  The white female had to be picked up by a CareFlite   helicopter and transported to Parkland hospital.  The two children were sent over by Wilmer EMS to Children’s hospital in Dallas.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was sent to Methodist and the passengers to Parkland and Children’s Hospitals, all in Dallas.

Ferris, Wilmer, CareFlite, and East Texas emergency management were all on call and transporting injured passengers.

  Officer Lindsey of Ferris PD said he was still working on the report as of press time and the investigation for the cause of the wreck is ongoing.
