Elected officials’ 4% pay raise approved

– Roy Calender Sr. spoke out against elected officials’ 4 percent pay raise before commissioners voted 3-1 to approve it. Some laughed at Calender’s statements, but in the end, only Commissioner Dennis Robinson, R-Palmer, voted against it. Commissioners voted for a $10,000 raise last year.
