County to postpone discussion on cell phones

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING  POSTPONED

ELLIS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT

Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Ellis County Commissioners Court will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM., in the historic courthouse, Commissioners Courtroom, 101 W. Main Street (2^nd Floor), Waxahachie, Texas at which time the following will be discussed and considered, to-wit:

OPENING COURT

1.1       County Judge will call meeting to order, declare quorum if present, and declare notices legally posted pursuant to Open Meetings Act.

1.2       Motion to Open Court.

ADMINISTRATIVE

2.1       Presentation by Richard Carbajal of AT&T of the benefits and cost savings to transition County cell phones from individual plans to a Pooled Minute Plan under the State of Texas Department of Information Resources contract.

2.2       Presentation and discussion concerning cell phone usage and County policy.

2.3       Consideration and action to approve moving the current AT&T cell phone numbers from individual plans to a Pooled Minute Plan under the State’s Department of Information Resources contract.

2.4       Consideration and action to fix telephone line items for each department, disallowing transfer of funds from those line items except upon review by the Commissioners’ Court in open session.
