Update on Smoke Seen In the Area:
The city of Waxahachie is currently receiving a large volume of calls regarding the smoke in the area. At the time of this message, there are no working fires within Waxahachie. The smoke is from a fire in Smith County, (Tyler, Texas) and is blowing in with the northeast wind. Please refrain from calling 911 due to smoke, only if you see flames.
