North and Southbound to Close for Night Time Maintenance Work

Overnight closures in place for full depth concrete repair work

IRVING - The Texas Department of Transportation’s contractor will be performing full-depth concrete repair work on the eastbound SH 183 exit ramp to both north and southbound President George Bush Turnpike (PGBT).   Both north and southbound exits to PGBT will be closed for three nights from September 6 through September 8.  The overnight closures will begin at 7 p.m. and will re-open each morning by 5 a.m. and will require both exit lanes to be closed while this work is performed.

TxDOT’s goal is to minimize the impact of these operations on area motorists and schedules the work to occur in the lowest volume traffic

Motorists will be directed to exit at Esters and follow the appropriate detour signage in place.

Message boards have also been placed in the area notifying area motorists of the upcoming closures.

TxDOT would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience, and thank area drivers and businesses for their patience and cooperation as crews work diligently to complete this maintenance project as safely and

as soon as possible.
