Submitted by the Red Oak Police Department

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, at noon, the Red Oak Police Department responded to a vehicle accident in the 300 block of E. Ovilla Rd. (FM 664) in Red Oak at Aycox & Pearson Family Dentistry.

Warren Stroud, 74, of Waxahachie, was parking his 2007 Ford F-150 into a parking space in front of Aycox & Pearson Family Dentistry.

Stroud inadvertently accelerated his truck instead of braking causing the truck to drive into the front of the dentist office hitting the receptionist desk knocking the receptionist, Delores Turner, 54 of Midlothian, out of her chair.

Turner sustained minor injuries and was transported to Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie via East Texas Medical Center Ambulance. Stroud was not injured in the accident.

No other persons or vehicles were damaged.
