Police seek to identify robber

RED OAK - On Monday, August, 29,  at 9:30 a.m, the Red Oak Police Department  responded to a robbery at Prosperity Bank located at 500 North IH-35 Service Road.

 A suspect described as a Hispanic male, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5-8 to 5-10 tall and approximately 190 to 210 pounds, wearing a black ball cap; maroon t-shirt, blue jeans and dark colored boots; entered the bank at approximately 9:30 am and presented a note to the cashier demanding money.

 The cahier complied with the demand and the suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of money and fled north bound on IH-35E in a compact silver colored car.

 No arrests have been made at this time pending further investigation.  ROPD is requesting anyone with information regarding this robbery to contact Lt. Flores Red Oak Police Department at (972) 617-7632
