Waxahachie – Mass of Christian burial for Maria Juarez, 77, were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Born Feb. 25, 1932 in San Louis Potosi, Mexico, the daughter of Alberto and Florencia Tapia Rodriguez, she passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009.
She married Roberto Juarez on Nov. 17, 1954 in Carrizo Springs, Texas and they have made their home in Ellis County for the last 40 years.
Preceded in death by her parents, a son Raul Juarez and a brother Juan Rodriguez; she is survived by her husband Roberto Juarez; children Celia Arostegui and wife Maria Ofelia, Ruben Juarez and wife Candida, Felix Juarez and wife Kay and Rojelio Juarez; sister Felicitas Diaz; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
