FERRIS - Funeral Mass services for Benita Ocanas, 84 of Ferris, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 in Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Born April 24, 1924 in Runge, the daughter of the late Juan and Manuela (Flores) Espiricueta, she passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2008 in Ennis.
She is survived by three daughters Lupe Moreno of Ferris, Linda Lara of Waxahachie and Benita Mata of Palmer; five sons Manuel Ocanas of Telico, Mingo Ocanas of Ferris, Rudy Ocanas of Ferris, Robert Ocanas of Ferris and Ramon Ocanas of Palmer; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
