Smells like sour grapes

ADVERTISEMENTS

I never thought I’d be attacked by my beloved newspaper because I failed to vote for their beloved candidate for Texas Governor. Smells like sour grapes to me!

The only time I have voted when I had to "hold my nose" was my vote for John McCain. None of us, of course, were given an alternative in that race.

I’m sorry, Jimmie, to tell you that I do not listen to Mark Davis nor Glen Beck. I make my own decisions. I do listen to Rush but he didn’t advise anyone on voting for Texas Governor, but I still love you Jimmie.

Now, Mr. Horning, I do not appreciate your calling me a "SLUG" because of my voting choice.

Remember, Sir, we are given freedom of choice on how we vote in elections.

So, as we, apparently many of us, did not choose your candidate, all I can say is, "get over it."

When I even think about voting for a female for Governor, the ghost of Ann Richards appears before me and that’s scary!

Sincerely,

Nelda Hodge

Ennis
