America’s biggest problem

For years, I’ve been telling people what I thought was America’s biggest problem in keeping the freedoms our Founders gave us. Most I told found it hard to believe.

"You’re wrong. Our problem is the socialists and the liberals." I didn’t want to believe it either, but it’s true. What problem am I talking about? It is America’s Christians; their churches and their pastors.

Most Christians today don’t seem to mind being involved with the 501 (c) (3) churches discussed in this column last week. They are too busy to give much thought to maintaining freedom in our country.

Most probably don’t really understand the Biblical principles of liberty let alone understand real American history, law and government.

Our schools have not taught this properly for at least 75 years. Without this knowledge, Christians are contributing to the demise of freedom in our land.

They are fooled by supposedly "conservative" politicians and even by pastors.

Chuck Baldwin, a pastor as well as the Constitution Party candidate from President in 2008 recently wrote, "we lost more freedom under former President George W. Bush than under any President since Lyndon Johnson or maybe…Franklin Roosevelt."

Why can’t evangelical Christians see there is little difference between Bill Clinton, George Bush or Barrack Obama? It makes no difference which party controls Washington, D.C. Could the failure of many Christians to be more discerning come from what they are learning at church?

Christians need to be aware of the people and groups they support and listen to. How can our country get back on track if they are supporting the people working against us? Three years ago I visited one of the largest churches in our area called Lake Pointe. It seats 5,500 and has over 14,000 members.

As a guest, I was invited to receive a free gift, a copy of "The Purpose Driven Church" by Rick Warren. Rick is the pastor of one of the largest and unfortunately one of the most influential "mega-churches" in the country.

He is a promoter of globalism and universalism, and is a partner of what Baldwin calls "one of the most devilish and sinister organizations in the world" – the Council on Foreign Relations – CFR. His purpose and Jesus’ purpose are not in the same ballpark.

Why would a Southern Baptist church be tied in with such a group? Why would over 100,000 pastors from hundreds of denominations in 162 countries get his newsletter? Why would Mike Huckabee go address this group?

Why would Dick Cheney (a former CFR leader) laugh while addressing a CFR meeting while Vice-President about not telling the people back in Wyoming what he was involved with? Do YOU KNOW what the CFR is up to? Find out, and ditch any politicians OR pastors that have any ties to this group.

Learn to recognize their deceptive talk when you hear it. Get out of the pews of churches working to destroy our country. Give up Joel Osteen, John Hagee and mega- churches. Quit giving them your money.

Have your pastor join the Black Regiment. For information about this, go to: www.chuck baldwinlive.com. The closest church to us is Kingdom Baptist Church in Venus, Texas. We need more. The American church needs to go from being the problem to being the Christian and Constitutional Solution. Let’s fix it.
