RED OAK - The Hawks hosted Forney on Friday, Jan. 22 in a key District game for both teams.
The Hawks, as usual, got off to a quick start, but the Jackrabbits weren’t going to hide.
After building a double digit lead mid-way through the second period, Forney started to get inside and found themselves down only four at halftime.
From there the game stayed close until late in the fourth when the Hawks picked up the pace and the scoring.
The Hawks shot well from the line late in the game to help them secure a big district win and keep them in the playoff race.
