RED OAK - On a warm Tuesday evening, the Red Oak Lady Hawks hosted Wylie in a non-district match at Billy Goodloe Stadium.
The Lady Hawks came into the match up at 4-0 and looking to extend that record.
In game that turned into a mid-field defensive battle, the Lady Hawks struck first on a great wide angle shot by Hailey Sutton with about 22 minutes left in the first half.
That would be the only goal scored the entire game and keeping the Lady Hawks undefeated record intact at 5-0.
The JV girls were not as fortunate and because of lack of effort.
They ended up losing their game 2-0.
The Lady Hawks will be back in action at home on Jan. 29. JV starts at 5:30 p.m. and varsity around 7:15 p.m.
