The Knights of Columbus council 12484 is encouraging all boys and girls between the ages of 10-14 to come out and compete in their annual competition.
This year the Free Throw competition will be held on Sunday, Jan. 24 at the ROJH gym.
Sign-ups begin at 1:30 p.m. and the competition starts at 2 p.m.
Boys and Girls compete only against their own age groups.
Boys and girls in the 10 and 11 age division will use a women’s regulation size ball and shoot from 12 feet.
Girls in the 12-14 age division will use a women’s regulation size ball too, but will shoot from 15 feet and boys in the 12-14 age division will use a men’s regulation size ball and shoot from 15 feet.
