The Ennis Lions were impressive to say the least in their final regular season game rolling past Waco University, 50-13.
Ennis scored on their first five possessions including an 86-yard blocked conversion kick return by senior Jason Minchew and an 85-yard kick-off return by Junior Kyle Guinyard.
Ennis put up 43 points in the first two quarters and held Waco to only six going into half-time.
The last touchdown of the game for Ennis came with 8:47 left in the third quarter when D.J. Betik found Deonte McDade for a 19-yard pass.
Waco University scored another touchdown with 3:00 left in the third, but it was too little too late.
Ennis will now face Red Oak at Cedar Hill Friday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.
