RED OAK - The Hawks JV maroon and white football teams were in action last Thursday.
The White team took on the JV squad from Midlothian.
JV Panthers started out strong and the Hawks offense stumbled. However, late in the game the Hawks battled back to turn a first half blow out into a very close game.
Although the Hawks white team lost the game, without a couple of mistakes early in the game, they could have easily won this one.
The JV Hawks maroon battled West Mesquite.
The Hawks started out with a long pass, catch and run setting up an eventual touchdown.
Both teams battled hard all night, but the Hawks would come out on top with a 12-6 win.
