The Ferris and Palmer Freshman volleyball teams met Friday afternoon, Aug. 29, to play the first freshman volleyball game in Ferris’ new high school.
The Ferris Lady Jackets used a combination of good communication and defense to fight off a strong Palmer team to take the first set 25-21.
Palmer struggled with their serving in the second set allowing a still strong Ferris to take the set and the game, with a score of 25-13.
