The Panthers finished last season fourth in their district with a record of 5-5.

With head coach Clark being the fifth head coach in four years, the Midlothian football program has certainly had its ups and downs. The roster last season topped out at 40 players, with exactly half of them being seniors. This year there are 54 players on the roster with 35 being seniors. Coach Clark expects to be in the play-offs this year with a record of 8-2 or better.

He likes what he sees in the back line and is working to develop his front line with the talent of a starting quarterback already committed to the University of Tennessee and a First Team All District offensive lineman.

The Panthers open their season Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. against Boerne.
