WAXAHACHIE - On Saturday, Aug. 9 SAGU Athletics invited the surrounding community to purchase the SAGU Sports Pass and to meet the SAGU coaches.

Dr Jerry Boone, Athletic Director at Southwestern Assemblies of God University, introduced the local community to the outstanding athletic events taking place at our university by offering a one time bargain for the local fans by offering a sports pass for all of the home events for $5. SAGU Sports Pass is a one-time pass to all SAGU home events for only five dollars.

A family of four can take in all SAGU Athletic home events the entire 2008-2009 athletic season for a total of $20.

SAGU coaches and staff were available at three different locations around Waxahachie for you to meet and purchase your pass: Chick-Fil-A, Cotton Patch Café, and the Waxahachie Farmer’s Market (downtown).

SAGU Athletics offers championship caliber college programs in the sports of football, volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball in a family friendly atmosphere that is close to home.

After Aug. 9, the price of the SAGU Sports Pass will rise to $40 dollars per person and will be available at home events and on online.

The first SAGU home game will be Aug. 30 when SAGU men’s and women’s Soccer will host Central Christian College at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.
