WAXAHACHIE – Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau,  in conjunction with Perry Giles of Giles Monuments in Waxahachie, is in search of all U.S. Military veterans to be honored in the Waxahachie Crape Myrtle Festival and Independence Parade Saturday, July 2.

“This is not limited to any declared wars,” stated Giles in an email about the subject.

Giles wants to make sure he has as many veterans on the floats being honored as possible.

The parade will kick-off at 10 a.m. on College Street in downtown Waxahachie.

If you are interested in riding on a veteran’s float contact  the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce at 972-937-2390 and ask for Fern Lyle.
