Paris Air Show opens in Le Bourget France amid concerns for global economic recovery in commercial aviation

The 49th Paris Air Show, which is perhaps the world's largest aviation event of 2011, opens today in Le Bourget, France. The event is open for business visitors from 20 to 23 June, and is open to the general public from 24 to 26 June. The event features static displays of some of the world's most advanced commercial and military aircraft and presents a daily flight demonstration of aircraft from around the world.
