Crews still cleaning up after fire

Crews are still cleaning up after the devastating five alarm fire burned down the 1879 Chisholm Grill restaurant in historic downtown Waxahachie Tuesday, Jan. 18.  The Barber Shop and McGuire Law Office were also damaged.  The Barber Shop was last to go.  City Manager Paul Stevens said,” the crew salvaged as much original brick as possible but I don’t know if they will re-use it or sell it.” The city is looking forward to the future with the Barber Shop and Law Office re-opening and the square re-built.
