UPTOWN VILLAGE AT CEDAR HILL CELEBRATES FATHER’S DAY WITH FREE ‘CRUISIN’ WITH DAD’ EVENT
Event on Saturday, June 18 from 6-9 p.m. will feature Classic Car Cruise-In, live music, kids’ activities and Father’s Day gift basket giveaway valued at $500
CEDAR HILL, Texas – (June 14, 2011) – Uptown Village at Cedar Hill will celebrate Father’s Day with a free “Cruisin’ with Dad” event on Saturday, June 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the monthly Classic Car Cruise-In.
“Cruisin’ with Dad” guests will enjoy a concert by local 50’s and 60’s rock and roll group, Johnny Diamond and the Silver Hubcap Band (www.johnnydiamondband.com), as well as a variety of kid’s activities.
During the event, guests may sign up to enter a drawing for the Father’s Day gift basket, valued at $500. The gift basket will include merchandise and gift certificates from Bailey’s Grille, Italia Express, Legend’s Barber Shop, Matt’s Rancho Martinez, Red’s Swagger, Tangerine Salon and Uptown Village. The drawing will take place at 8 p.m. Winner must be present to accept the prize in person.
Classic Car Cruise-In, hosted by Midlothian Classic Wheels, is held on the third Saturday of each month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. featuring classic cars from across the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. The event will take place in the parking lot adjacent to Black-eyed Pea, located along Pleasant Run Road.
