Various lanes on I-20 closed for repair this week
DALLAS – Weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has scheduled several lane closures on Interstate 20 (I-20) this week in southwest Dallas County for full depth concrete repair:
- Tuesday, June 7, beginning at 7 p.m. and continuing through 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 8: One right lane on eastbound I-20 will be closed from FM 1382 to Mountain Creek Parkway.
- Wednesday, June 8, beginning at 8 p.m. and continuing through 6 a.m. Thursday, June 9: The ramp from westbound I-20 to northbound Spur 408 will be closed.
- DETOUR: Traffic will be detoured from westbound I-20 to Mountain Creek Parkway in order to U-turn back to eastbound I-20 to northbound Spur 408.
- Thursday, June 9beginning at 7 p.m. and continuing through 5 a.m. Friday, June 10: One right lane of eastbound I-20 will be closed from Hampton Road to Polk Street.
Message boards have been placed in these locations to inform the traveling public of the upcoming lane closures.
TxDOT appreciates the patience of motorists and encourages attention to all warning signs within the construction work zone while crews work diligently to complete this project as quickly and as safely as possible.
