Honoring fallen Police officers

Local officers, officials and residents gathered Friday, May 20 at 6 p.m. to honor fallen police officers all over the state as well as two of Ferris’ own, 

Officer Marty Steinfeldt (end of watch: Oct. 6, 2002) and Constable James 

Ben Wicker (end of watch: Oct. 10, 1962). Residents and officers had a chance to share memories of the officers and a moment of silence during a bagpipe version of “Amazing Grace.”
