Special Guest Speaker Linda Peterson

On her way to a job interview in Irving, Linda Peterson, originally from Missouri, took a wrong turn and found herself in Red Oak - where she has stayed and has been a vital part of the education community, making lasting impressions on the lives of her students ever since.

"Ms. P", as her students call her, has been a teacher in Red Oak ISD for 26 years. She has teaching experience in several grade levels and with students of all academic abilities. She takes the time to get to know them, what makes them "tick" and then she teaches to their strengths.

Linda married the love of her life, Jerry, who always supported her career and spent hours "assisting" in her classroom with Linda's projects for her students until his death last fall. Linda and Jerry raised 3 wonderful daughters who all attended RO schools and graduated from Red Oak High School. Linda is a teacher at heart and is a true example of a master teacher.
