Estranged husband kidnaps, sexually assaults wife
WAXAHACHIE - A 27-year-old Dallas man was arrested on felony charges Monday, April 4 after sexually assaulting and kidnapping his wife from her home on the 100 block of South Edgefield.
Carlos Antonio Pineda, just released from jail on Friday, April 1 according to police records, was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and set on a $75,000 bond on Monday, April 4.
On Saturday, April 2, Pineda went to pick up some money left in the mailbox from his wife, whose identity is not being revealed because she was a victim, then kidnapped and physically assaulted her in Lancaster before taking her to the Deluxe Inn Motel off Interstate Highway 30 in Dallas to sexually assault her.
The wife stated to the detective Pineda was her husband and they had been separated. She also stated she at first got in the car willingly but later, when she wanted out, he grabbed her by the arm holding her against her will while threatening to kill her.
According to the statement, that’s when Pineda kidnapped her and drove her to Dallas, sexually assaulting her.
Pineda has seven other previous felony convictions.
