FERRIS - Students from Ferris High School received certificates of appreciation from Mayor Rick Barrett during a presentation at the Monday, April 4 regular council meeting.
The students were among 12 selected from 120 entrants from the “Historic Structures Drawing Contest” held by the Ferris Main Street Program.
Winning drawings will be featured on 4x6 folding note cards sold at the annual Brick Festival on Saturday, April 30.
Revenue generated at the festival from the sale of the note cards will fund production of the Historic Ferris Coloring Book, which will be presented to students in grades 1 through 3.
