LANCASTER – A Sunday morning shooting left one dead and one hospitalized according to Lancaster Police Lt. Kelly Hooten.

After midnight on Sunday, March 27, a neighbor at Rolling Hills Apartments called 911 to report hearing gunfire.

The police responded to the 500 block of Rolling Hills Place, near Interstate Highway 35 and Pleasant Run Road, to find a woman injured outside her apartment and a man dead inside.

The man was verified as 23-year-old, black male, Victor Jordan.

The female, currently in the hospital for "non life threatening injuries" was unclear to detectives on what exactly happened. "We are still trying to figure out what type of relationship all parties involved had," said Hooten.

According to Hooten, the unidentified female victim ran out of the apartment when things started to go downhill.

It’s possible a third person could have been involved and anyone with information is urged to call investigators at 972-218-2711.
