2nd Saturday on the Square” festivities focus on Education Awareness Day
EDUCATION AWARENESS DAY
Lancaster, TX – The monthly “2nd Saturday on the Square” festivities on March 12 will focus on Education Awareness Day, bringing information about what it takes to transition from high school to higher education and into selected career fields.
Signature vendors include: Pastor Rick Hope, Teacher Sandra Walters, PC Center of Desoto, Cedar Valley College, the College and Career Readiness Center at Lancaster High School, representatives from SMU and UNT Dallas, who will be handing out information about their programs.
Folks from the Lancaster Library will be out to read books to the children and a Hula Hoop contest and many other activities are planned for the community.
