New Year baby rings in 2011

Little Phillip Peter Helland was a special New Year’s present for mom Autumn Helland and dad Jeff Helland when he arrived at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 1, by David Morehead, DO, making him the first baby born at the hospital. Weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces, Phillip seemed oblivious to the oohs and aahs of adoring relatives as he quietly dozed through all the commotion. Autumn and Jeff are Red Oak residents and Phillip is their first child. Jeff is a general manager for US Art Transportation in Dallas and Autumn is a school teacher in Red Oak.
