Man molests 7-year-old-son
MIDLOTHIAN - On Tuesday, Oct. 12 Midlothian Police Department received a 911 call from a man advising he was at the Wal-Mart off Highway 67 and an unknown man just molested his 7-year-old son.
The Northern Ellis Emergency Dispatch Center dispatched Midlothian officers to the location, while they continued to gather information on the suspect and his vehicle, relayed to responding officers.
Midlothian Police Officer Vernon Kemp observed a vehicle matching the description given by communication operators leaving the Wal-Mart parking lot and initiated a traffic stop on a gold Chevrolet four door with one occupant, Phillip Wayne Waller, 38.
Officer Adrian Allen met with the 911 caller at Wal-Mart and with the information gathered from witnesses and officers, arrested Waller for indecency with a child.
Waller, a white male, was booked into the Midlothian City Jail and arraigned on one charge of indecency with a child with bond set at $10,000.
