REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Ferris Independent School District is seeking competitive proposals for the purchase of property/vehicle insurance coverage beginning November 29, 2008 through November 29, 2009. Competitive proposals will be received until November 13, 2008 by 10:A.M. at the District office. The mailing address of the office is P.O. Box 459, Ferris, Texas 75125. The physical address is 303 East Fifth Street, Ferris Texas 75125. Please address proposals to the attention of Ron Smith, Assistant Superintendent for Business. Specifications may be obtained by contacting Ron Smith or Brenda Rodriguez at (972) 544-3858 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. The Ferris Independent School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof, to negotiate with any providers as deemed necessary and advisable; to waive any and all technicalities; and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the District. Any exceptions to coverage requested in the specifications should be clearly explained in writing. Failure to meet all specified conditions may invalidate a proposal. Proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope "Sealed Proposals for Property/Vehicle Insurance Coverage-Fund Year 2009".
