Ferris Independent School District: NOTICE FOR SEALED PROPOSALS

The Ferris Independent School District is accepting sealed proposals for the sale of a Ferris ISD trailer.  The trailer is 28 feet long-24 foot flatbed with a 4 ft. dovetail.  8’ feet wide, total width just under 102 inches with tie down/rub rail.  Gooseneck hitch, bed over axle construction (float).  (3) 6000 lb. axles – (2) brake,  (1) tag along.  8 bolt, 16 wheels and tires.  Treated wood floor.  BRAND NEW.   A minimum proposal must be at least $4,500.00.  For more details regarding this trailer, please contact Mr. David McGee, Ferris ISD Vocational Agriculture Teacher at Ferris High School.  You may also call Ferris High School at (972) 544-3737 and leave a message for Mr. McGee to return your call.  The trailer can also be inspected at the Ferris ISD Transportation Building, located at 401 E. 3rd Street, Ferris, Texas between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.

Sealed proposals will be received until October 21, 2013 by 4:00 P.M. at the Ferris ISD Administration Building located at 301 E. 5th Street, Ferris, Texas, 75125.  Please address all proposals to the attention of Ron Smith, Assistant Superintendent for Business.  Proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, “Sealed Proposals for Ag Trailer”.  Ferris Independent School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or any portion thereof, to negotiate with any prospective bidders; to waive any and all technicalities; and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the District.
