Dallas officer arrested on Waxahachie PD warrant
ARLINGTON - Dallas Police Officer Broc McCoy was arrested at approximately 3:32 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 in Arlington stemming from domestic disturbance charges from the Waxahachie Police Department.
According to the arrest affidavit with the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department, officers were dispatched to Arlington PD in reference to a prisoner pickup where McCoy was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant with WPD, booked, then transferred to Ellis County Jail.
McCoy, 38, was a Senior Corporal with the Dallas Police Department working the southeast patrol division.

"The warrant is the result of an allegation detailing a domestic situation said to have occurred in our city in July 2010," said Woodruff.
The complaint was filed with the WPD on Wednesday, Oct. 27.
Details of the domestic disturbance in July were not immediately available.
McCoy, an 11–year veteran of the DPD, is out on a $5,000 bond.
