PUBLIC HEARING

In accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Chapter 211 et. seq. and Wilmer City Ordinance No. 88-1206, the City of Wilmer, Texas, Wilmer City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at 101 Davidson Plaza, Wilmer, TX to consider an application for request for a zoning change from SF1 to Light Industrial. This property is located at the 307 South Goode Road, Wilmer, Texas 75172. The property is more particularly described as follows:

Being a tract of land situated in the J. Weatherford Survey, Abstract No. 1536, in Dallas County, Texas, being all of tract of land conveyed to Billie J. Simmons and Georgia A. Simmons by deed recorded in Volume 2002104, Page 7596 of the Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:

Beginning at a ½ inch iron rod found for corner in the southwest right-of-way line of S. Goode Road (50 foot R.O.W.), said point being the north corner of a tract of land conveyed to Billie J. Simmons and Georgia Simmons by deed recorded in Volume 2000099, Page 6753 of the Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, same being the east corner of herein described tract;

THENCE South 61 Degrees 07 Minutes 35 Seconds West, passing the south corner of said Simmons tract recorded in Volume 2000099, Page 6753, at a distance of 334.12 feet, same point being the north corner of a tract of land conveyed to George E. Hafertepe, Joe H. Hafertepe and Herman B. Hafertepe by deed recorded in Volume 74142, Page 812 of the Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, and continuing along the northwest line of said Hafertepe tract, for a total distance of 1352.00 feet to a 5/8 inch iron set for corner with a yellow cap stamped (DC&A INC), said point being the south corner of herein described tract;

THENCE North 30 degrees 04 minutes 33 seconds West, a distance of 854.24 feet to a 5/8 inch rod set for corner with a yellow cap stamped (DC&A INC) said point being in the southeast line of a tract of land conveyed to Clyde L. Hargrove by deed recorded in Volume 2003167, Page 17237 of the Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, same being the west corner of herein described tract:

THENCE North 59 degrees 57 minutes 00 seconds, East, along the southeast line of said Hargrove tract, a distance of 605.72 feet to a ½ inch iron rod found for corner, said point being the west corner of a tract of land conveyed to M. J. Perl by deed recorded in Volume 98231, Page 177 of the Deed Records of Dallas County, Texas, same being the most westerly north corner of herein described tract;

THENCE South 71 Degrees 18 Minutes 35 Seconds East, along the southwest line of said Perl tract, a distance of 256.04 feet to a 5/8 inch iron rod set for corner with a yellow cap stamped (DC&A INC);

THENCE South 85 degrees 31 minutes 34 seconds east, along the south line of said Perl tract, a distance of 732.48 feet to a ½ inch iron rod found for corner in the southwest right-of-way line of said S. Goode Road, said point being the east corner of said Perl tract, same being the most easterly north corner of herein described tract;

THENCE South 30 degrees 02 minutes 59 seconds East, along the southwest right-of way line of said S. Goode Road, a distance of 274.39 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 915,951.99 square feet or 21.0273 acres of land
