Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected and not man. Hebrews 8:1,2

The Lord Jesus Christ is our High Priest who has gone before us to make atonement for the sins of mankind and to reconcile us back to God. Our sins, iniquities, transgressions, generational curses and sicknesses have been washed away by the cleansing power of the Savior’s blood. Jesus bled seven times to set us free from the curse of Adam giving us a complete salvation.

Adam sinned in the garden of Eden, and all of mankind fell out of relationship with God receiving the generational consequences of Adam’s transgression. Sin, sickness and death began to move down the bloodline of all humanity bringing destruction and devastation to everyone, sending all to hell that did not receive the cleansing blood of Christ.

The blood of Jesus Christ is the only cleansing agent that can wash away the sins of man. No other remedy can repair man’s fall from grace, only the Savior’s blood. Until man cries out for mercy, confesses his sinful condition and repents of his iniquities he will remain in an eternal position of being an enemy of God, destined for eternal damnation.

Therefore, as through one man’s offense, judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation; even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. Romans 5: 18

The Garden of Grace

And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Luke 22:44

Adam’s sin expelled him from the garden of Eden and separated all of mankind from the grace of God.

Jesus, the last Adam gained entry for us all to once again live in God’s presence by the blood that He shed in the garden of Gethsemane.

Taking upon Himself the sins of the world by becoming the supreme sacrifice, in agony He sweat blood to give us access once again to the Father’s presence.

He literally became sin in our place and by His blood delivered all of mankind from the penalty of death and eternal damnation. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:21

Bruised for our Iniquties

He was bruised ( crushed ) for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him. Isaiah 53:5

Jesus was beaten almost beyond recognition to break the generational curse that runs in all of our bloodlines. He was bruised which meant that He bled inside to wash away the iniquities of past generations and to give all of mankind a clean slate.

The sin of Adam effected all of mankind as it traveled down the bloodline of millions of unsuspecting souls wreaking havoc and destroying countless lives impacting all of creation. His blood delivered us from the generational curse once and for all, setting us free from the sins of our ancestors.

Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise (crush) Him; He has put Him to grief. When you make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.

He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify (pardon) many, for He shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:10,11

Crowned to Prosper

And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand, and they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!"

Then they spat on Him and took the reed and struck Him on the head. Matthew 27:28-30

The Savior of all mankind was humiliated and mocked, beaten and bruised, all for us, the ones who deserved it. Crowned with great suffering with twisted thorns piercing His brow, Jesus broke the curse on our livelihood of poverty, debt and lack.

God cursed the ground that provided Adam his living and Jesus reversed the curse by the blood that was shed from the crown of thorns. By breaking this curse the body of Christ can truly experience the promise of a land flowing with milk and honey, God’s divine provision for His people. The Lord is our Shepherd we shall not want!

"Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field.

In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return." Genesis 3:17,18

By His Stripes You Were Healed

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness- by whose stripes (wounds) you were healed. I Peter 2:24

Jesus was turned over to the Romans to be scourged with the famed cat-o-nine tails: a cruel whip with pieces of bone and metal attached to the strips of leather designed to tear flesh.

When one would receive the 39 lashes their back would literally look like it had been striped with paint, although it was blood pouring out of open wounds.

It has been said that Jesus healed thirty nine root diseases with this scourging although there is no documentation that there is such a thing to my knowledge. But the Bible does yield this fact that He healed all of our diseases, sicknesses, griefs and sorrows, meaning that He gave us a complete and thorough healing of our mind, body and emotions.

Jesus not only dealt with all of mankind’s ailments but He broke the curse of hereditary diseases sent down the bloodline from Adam giving us freedom forever. All who would receive the promise of healing through faith in His word will be made whole by His stripes and will be restored by His Spirit.

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord O my soul, and forget none of His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:1-3

His Hands Were Pierced for our Transgressions

He was wounded ( pierced ) for our transgressions. Isaiah 53:5

The hands of Christ were pierced through with nails and He bled to forgive our transgressions: a willful deviation from the path of righteousness, it is a premeditated crossing of the line of God’s law, a rebellious act of rejecting the authority of God in one’s life.

Not only did the blood flow from the hands of Jesus, but the anointing of God’s Holy Spirit that breaks the yoke of bondage placed upon us because of sin flows from His hands. He laid hands on the sick and they were healed, He touched the dead and they were raised. The very power of the throne of God flowed from the Savior’s heart to those that cried out for His tender mercy.

"Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands." Isaiah 49:15,16

His Feet Were Pierced to Give us Dominion

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13,14

Jesus was nailed to a tree and bled from His feet to cleanse us from our trespasses, an unlawful entry on someone’s property. He also gave us dominion over all the powers of darkness to tread upon them with our feet. We have been given authority to defeat the enemy and to carry the glorious gospel of salvation to a lost world.

Crucified for us, beaten and bloody, suffering great sorrow and pain He defeated the devil judging him once and for all time to be tormented in fire and brimstone for all eternity. Looking up toward His heavenly Father He uttered these words in His dying breath, "It is finished." In other words He had completed His mission on earth to become the sacrifice that paid man’s debt of sin allowing him access once again to the Father.

Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2:15

He Bled From A Broken Heart

But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. John 19:34

Jesus literally bled out for us and emptied Himself on the cross to wash away the sins, iniquities, trespasses, transgressions and sicknesses of mankind. His heart was broken for us that He might heal our broken heart. Jesus bled to mend us both mentally and emotionally by binding up our broken hearts.

Our hearts have been washed clean of guilt and shame so that we can be filled with joy and gladness resulting in praise and worship for Him who died and rose again on our behalf. When one believes by faith to receive His mercy and surrenders His life to Jesus with a repentant heart the blood flows supernaturally to cleanse us of all sin.

He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound. Isaiah 61:1

In the Old Testament the High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies where the presence of God abides. Once a year he would enter with the blood of a lamb to present before the Lord to atone for the people’s sins by smearing the blood seven times on the mercy seat.

Our High Priest the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God shed His blood seven times to give mankind a complete and eternal salvation, delivering us from damnation, sickness and sin forever! We have been set free, washed, cleansed, healed, delivered and made complete through His blood.

If you have never been "Born Again" by accepting His blood by faith and having your sins washed away and you are willing to surrender your life to the Savior’s control, then today can be the day of your salvation. By repenting or turning away from a wicked way of life and receiving the free gift of His grace and the forgiveness that comes through faith you can be saved.

"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, whom Heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:19-21

NOTE: Jesus Christ died for you and rose again to give you new life and to make you a new creation in Him. The benefit of this righteous act is available to all of mankind, but it cannot be obtained by any means but by faith in His word.

One cannot become a Christian ( Christ follower ) by doing good works or going to church, or by being a good moral upstanding citizen. Even baptism doesn’t save anyone nor joining the church, only by believing, confessing and repenting can one experience true salvation.

If your heart has convicted you by knowing what the Lord Jesus suffered for you because of His great love and mercy, then cry out to Him for forgiveness and ask Him to wash away your sin and surrender your life to Him forever. You will never be the same!
