RED OAK - The Lady Hawks varsity basketball team tied Mesquite Poteet for second
place in District 154A.
Both teams were district runner up and to determine play off seceding, the Lady
Hawks played Mesquite Poteet at Ferris Hight School gym on Friday, Feb. 12.
It was a very close game throughout, but a four point difference in the second
period would give Poteet just enough lead to eventually beat the Lady Hawks
65-63.
The Lady Hawks now prepare for the playoffs and their first game is scheduled
for Tuesday, Feb. 16.
