Ennis Lions roar past Waco University on their way to the play offs

The Ennis Lions were impressive to say the least in their final regular season
game rolling past Waco University, 50-13.
Ennis scored on their first five possessions including an 86-yard blocked
conversion kick return by senior Jason Minchew and an 85-yard kick-off return by
Junior Kyle Guinyard.
Ennis put up 43 points in the first two quarters and held Waco to only six going
into half-time.
The last touchdown of the game for Ennis came with 8:47 left in the third
quarter when D.J. Betik found Deonte McDade for a 19-yard pass.
Waco University scored another touchdown with 3:00 left in the third, but it was
too little too late.
Ennis will now face Red Oak at Cedar Hill Friday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.
