Athletes sign letters of intent

RED OAK - Hard work and dedication do pay off.
Two Red Oak High School Seniors are examples of that as they signed Letters of
Intent to play Collegiate Softball on Monday, Nov. 11 at Red Oak High School and
nearly every member of the Lady Hawks softball team was on hand for the signing.
Amber Tucker signed her letter to play at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort
Worth Texas and who is coached by Shannon Gower. Texas Wesleyan University is a
NAIA Division School.
Samantha Gilmore signed her letter to play at St. Edwards University near
Austin, Texas and who is coached by Lindsay Gardner.
St. Edwards is a NCAA Division II school. Also in attendance were Head Softball
Coach, Tatum Thorne and ROISD Athletic Director, Pat Brady.
Both ladies were accompanied by their parents.
