The Ellis County Press: DeSoto High School athletes garner state, district awards DeSoto High School athletes garner state, district awards ================================================================================ Editor on 12/23/2010 12:50:00 DESOTO - The DeSoto Eagles Football Team advanced to the State Quarterfinals before a loss to Round Rock Story Point on Saturday, Dec. 4 in Waco by a score of 72-48. The Eagles Football te-am was District 11-5A Co-District Champions for 2010 along with Longview. They finish with a final record of 4-1 in district play; 11-3 on the season.
