RED OAK - After losing to a very good Waco Midway team on Tuesday, Dec. 14, the
Lady Hawks turned around on Friday, Dec. 17 and took their frustration out on
the Forney Lady Jackrabbits.
The Lady Hawks played very aggressive basketball and for awhile, the Lady
Jackrabbits tried to match up with full court pressure, but soon found
themselves on the losing end of that battle.
The Lady Hawks took an early lead and quickly turned it into a double digit
lead.
In the second half the Lady Jackrabbits tired to make a run and got within 11
points, but that was as close as they would get.
Coach Fulmer was able to go deep into her bench in the fourth period and the
Lady Hawks cruised to a 59-32 victory.
The JV Lady Hawks also played a great game and just simply outplayed the JV Lady
Jackrabbits and they too cruised to a 36-22 win.
