From 48 players on the roster, more than 500 breakfast burritos, fruit salads, and breakfast drinks were prepared, packaged and served cheerfully to more than 100 high school employees. Coach Wiginton’s players did not receive extra credit, money, or community service hours for arriving at 7 a.m. to appreciate their teachers by preparing a free breakfast for them. "All the food was paid for and prepared by the players. They want to show the respect for the teachers and leadership at this school," Special Teams Coach Jimmy Spradley said. Players greeted teachers as they arrived. Boys crowded around a large round table to hand package sausage/egg burritos. Even injured player Blake Lunday sat in a wheelchair at the door to hand out food as teachers entered the classroom set up as a breakfast diner.
