WAXAHAHIE - Funeral services for Nadine Holstine, 67, were held at 11 a.m.
Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Patrick Baptist Church in Ferris.
Born July 24, 1941 in Cutchin, Ky., the daughter of Sim and Oma Mitchell, she
passed away at home Monday, July 6, 2009.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband Fredrick Holstine, sister Marge
Sizemore; she is survived by her daughters Alice Holloway, Brenda Roberts and
Sheila Menefee; son James Smith; sisters Mallie Joseph and Edna May Sheppard;
brothers Danny Mitchell, Timmy Mitchell, Elmer Mitchell, Wilmer Mitchell,
Stanley Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell and Michael Mitchell; grandchildren Jonathan
Knight, Gabrielle Holloway, Dan Roberts Jr., Nadine "Michelle" Lavalies and
Christina Smith; and great-grandchildren Christian Roberts, Collin Roberts,
Breanna Lavalias and Damon Lavalias.
Interment followed Monday, July 14, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the Dallas Ft. Worth
National Cemetery under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
