WAXAHACHIE - Funeral services for James Conner "Jim" Beam were held at 10 a.m.
Saturday, June 14, 2008 in the Waxahachie Bible Church.
Born Jan. 9, 1936, in Dallas, the son of Leon Sanders Beam and Holmsie Conner
Beam, he passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at his home in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister Phoebe Shay; he is survived by
Connie, his wife of 53 years; five sons James Jr. and wife Gena, Mike and wife
Hope, Greg and wife, Tina, Wesley and David and wife Amy; daughter Leighanne
McAlister and her husband Kyle; grandchildren Aaron, Brittany and Shafer
McAlister, Jennifer, Abrham, Rebekah, Josiah, Isaac, Simeon, Landon, Alyssa,
John, Kaysie, Celeste, Bailey and Chloe Beam and Laura Beam Harris;
great-grandchildren Morgan, Laney, Gage, Parker, Blaine and Preslee; brother Roy
and wife Frances; and sisters Mary Klenzendorf and Thelma Glenn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Fosters Home
for Children, 1779 N. Graham St., Stephenville, TX 76401 (254-968-2143) or

Arrangements were under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home
in Waxahachie.
