BRISTOL - Graveside services for Johnnie Mote Jeffers, 80 of Bristol, were held
at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008 in the Bristol Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Lewis
officiating.
Born July 30, 1927 in Ferris, the son of the late Mote and Thelma (Barber)
Jeffers, he passed away Friday, May 16, 2008 in Ennis.
He is survived by his wife Janie Jeffers of Bristol; daughter Yvonne Chipman of
Bristol; granddaughters Tonya Spence, Shelia Chipman and fiancé Shane Billings
of Ennis; great-granddaughter Harmony Spence of Bristol; sister Jenny Bledsoe;
nephew Rick Bledson; great-niece Whitney Bledson all of College Station; brother
J.H. and Pat Jeffers; and nephew Jack and Debbie Jeffers all of Palestine.
Arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
