The Ellis County Press: Deborah Herd Edwards Deborah Herd Edwards ================================================================================ Editor on 10/04/2012 21:47:00 May 5, 1956 - Sept. 30, 2012 LANCASTER - Deborah Herd Edwards, 56 of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012 in Lancaster. She was born on May 5, 1956 in Dallas, to Bennie & Ruby Florence Harvey Herd. Deborah drove a school bus for the Red Oak Independent School District for many years and then drove for the Lancaster ISD until her retirement. She will be missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her three sons: Mason Edwards of Tom Bean, Texas; Matthew Edwards of Red Oak and Benjamin Edwards of Red Oak; two daughters: Kelley Ivy of Waxahachie, Texas and Taylor Edwards of Stephenville; one brother: Bennie Herd of Arlington; five grandchildren: Makenzey Ivy, Kenadey Ivy, Macy Edwards, Caden Edwards and Blake Taylor Edwards and her longtime companion “Freeway.” Services to celebrate her life were scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at the Ovilla Church of Christ with Michael Elrod officiating.
