MIDLOTHIAN - Ruban Charles Ortiz, 31, of Midlothian, beloved father, son &
brother, passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011.
Born Dec. 20, 1979 in Dallas, Ruban was a Certified Auto Technician at Mac Haik
Ford.
His children, Hope Elizabeth Ortiz and Ruban Charles Ortiz, Jr, survive him,
along with their mother, Jessica Dee Ortiz. Also surviving are his parents,
Ruban & Rosa Lee Ortiz; sister, Melissa Iris Villalon & husband, Danny;
grandfather, Joe Sendejas, Sr. and grandmother, Esperanza Rodriguez; nieces,
Roslynn & Layla Villalon; brother-ion-heart, Giancarlo Medrano along with a host
of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Ruban was preceded in death by grandparents, Victor Ortiz, Sr. and Olivia Hayes.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 at Holy
Spirit Catholic Church, 1111 W. Danieldale Rd. Duncanville, TX 75137. Burial
will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in DeSoto.
The family received friends from 6-9 p.m., Wednesday, with a Rosary beginning at
7 p.m. also at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
